BADSEY were beaten by eight wickets at home to Ashorne in Cotswold Hills League Division Three.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Badsey set a competitive score of 203-8 off their 45 overs.
Adam Westmacott topscored with 60, while Tim Evans made 58, Joe Gisbourne 24 and Michael Powell 20. Gary Hammersly (3-48) was the main wicket-taker.
In reply, Ashorne were 65 without loss off after 12 overs and they reached their target for the loss of just two wickets.
Nick Saunders led the way with an unbeaten 52, while Powell and Gisbourne took a wicket each.
Badsey seconds were awarded a 20-point walk over win in Division Seven after hosts Moreton seconds were unable to field a side.
