A MODERATE wind tested Arden newcomers at Defford with Angie Graham capsizing before the start.
Tricia Wood held the lead in the women’s race to beat Graham as she recovered to see off Rachael Evans who also capsized.
The pursuit series’ eighth race went to Andrew Potts, Ralph Evans and Simon Newman who were first, second and third respectively.
The placings were identical for the Solos contest. Malcom Colledge won the Comet race.
