THE Lenches continued their fine form with an 85- run home win over Winchcombe to move five points clear of the Cotswold Hills League Division Two relegation zone.
After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, an opening stand of 61 was followed by regular wickets after Steve McNally (34) fell.
A late burst of big hitting from Tom Paul (36) lifted The Lenches to 189-7 with Joe Ballinger taking 3-47 from 10 overs.
The hosts got into the Winchcombe batting early on as Ed Cottrill (4-42) claimed four wickets for the second week running.
Only Ed Huggett put up a fight with 47 from their final total of 104 with Al White and Paul taking 2-13 and 2-7 respectively.
