EVESHAM’S Simon Andrews helped the Honda TT Legends to ninth overall in the Oschersleben Eight Hours in Germany.
The team picked up 16 points from finishing sixth in the Endurance World Championship class to go 15th in the standings.
Michael Rutter and Simon Andrews took the first and second stints, propelling the team up to sixth from 11th.
A fuelling issue saw the team drop to 17th but they reclaimed eight places as the race was eventually won by Suzuki Endurance.
Andrews said: “We started off really well and my first stint was good. I got up to seventh and did some fast, consistent times.
“After the fuel problem, we were able to manage the race to keep up to the lap times needed and got through the rest without any issues. It was good for me to finish the race and get my first championship chequered flag too.”
