LITTLETON striker Jamie Insall cracked three hattricks in nine days in the Midland Combination Premier Division.
After scoring three at Southam in a 3-3 draw a week last Monday, he repeated the feat in a 6-1 weekend thrashing of Castle Vale JKS and Tuesday’s 4-0 win at Blackwood.
Against Vale, the hosts went ahead on 13 minutes through Chris Cornes’ 20-yard free-kick.
The visitors equalised but Insall put Littleton back ahead soon after.
Insall increased the lead five minutes before halftime and Cornes made it 4-1 at the interval.
Stuart Hall also scored and Vale had a defender sent off for handball with Insall netting the penalty.
He bagged another treble in a 4-0 win at Blackwood with Cornes also on target as Littleton moved up to third in the table.
They host Alvis on Saturday (3pm) and Bromsgrove Sporting next Wednesday (7.45pm).
- Pershore Town enjoyed a 2-1 home win over Racing Club Warwick.
Steve Webb shot wide before Mark Owen flicked home a 48th-minute cross.
Two minutes later, Scott Finnegan’s 25-yard screamer made it two before the visitors pulled a goal back on 60 minutes.
However, Pershore slipped down to fourth after a 5-3 mid-week home defeat to Southam.
They host Wellington in the FA Vase first qualifying round on Saturday (3pm).
