Pershore beaten at home for third time

PERSHORE Town lost their third consecutive home Midland Combination Premier Division game at the Winstanley and Co King George V Stadium, going down 4-0 to Nuneaton Griff.
The hosts controlled the match and created several good chances before a controversial penalty was awarded to the visitors from which they took the lead.
Despite this setback, Pershore continued to create openings, but the turning point came in the 68th minute when the visitors increased their lead.
While chasing the game, Pershore conceded two further goals.
Dane Aldington scored in Town’s 3-1 home defeat to Earlswood Town last week, while Louis Bridges hit the bar and Craig Selby had an effort hooked off the line.
Liittleton lost 4-1 at Bolehall Swifts in the Midland Combination Premier Division.
Littleton conceded and were two goals behind on the half-hour mark.
Bolehall increased their lead to 3-0 at the break.
Jamie Insall pulled a goal back from the penalty spot in the 75th minute but Bolehall added a fourth in the final minute. Littleton’s Robbie Bunn was sent off for two yellow cards late on.
