EVESHAM’S Mark Tyrrell continued his East Midland Racing Association Championship 125GP class domination by running away with the final two races at Mallory Park.
He drove his Chapman- Tyrrell Honda to victory in the opener, finishing six-anda- half seconds ahead of Nuneaton’s Jamie Ashby after leading from the start.
In race two, again over 10 laps, Tyrrell beat Ashby by more than eight seconds.
He won all 12 championship races at Mallory Park, Cadwell Park and Darley Moor for a maximum haul of 210 points, collecting six trophies.
The final winning margin of 94 over Ashby was the greatest of any championship class.
Tyrrell is now setting his sights on the Darley Moor Road Race Championship final round in Derbyshire on Sunday, October 13.
