AN Evesham teenager has been crowned Sea Cadets National Windsurfing Champion for the second year running.
Leading Cadet Daniel Ludlow defended the title in Southport, after winning through district and area sections.
The 16-year-old said: “I am happy to win the national trophy for a second year in a row. The competition was just as hard as last year so it wasn’t easy.”
Evesham commanding officer Keith Field said: “We are continuing to see success at all levels which is now putting us among the top units in the country. Well done to Daniel.”
Evesham Sea Cadets and Marine Cadet Detachment meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 7pm until 9.30pm in Shinehill Lane, South Littleton.
New recruits between the ages of 10 and 18 are welcome with more details at sea-cadets.org/evesham.
