LITTLETON Juniors Football Club have secured sponsorship from firm Kanes Foods to give them financial stability for the next three years.
Formed in 1995, the club has started the new season in the Ambassador Evesham League with seven teams from under eights up to under 14s, giving around 100 children the opportunity to play every Saturday morning.
Teams train once a week and play home matches at the recreation ground in South Littleton.
Owain Hann put the hosts ahead after a through-ball from John Barradell but they trailed 2-1 at the break and keeper Tom Linley saved a penalty.
Wanderers were forced to play the majority of the second- half with 10 players due to injury and conceded five more goals.
Josh Sellick was named man-of-the-match.
