Pershore Vase date changed

9:40am Thursday 21st November 2013

THE RFU Senior Vase thirdround tie between Pershore Rugby Club and Yardley and District has been rearranged for Saturday, December 21.

Saturday’s match was postponed because half of the visitors’ squad could not reach Wyre Piddle in time after being caught in traffic.

The M42 was closed when a man threatened to harm himself on the A38 motorway bridge near Bromsgrove.

Third-from-bottom Pershore resume their Midlands Three West (South) campaign at title-chasing Cheltenham North on Saturday, while struggling Evesham host Old Yardleians.

Bottom-placed Shipston-on- Stour visit Upton-upon-Severn, who were relegated with them last season, looking for their first win.

Leaders Bredon Star protect their 100 per cent league record at second-placed Old Cryptians in Gloucester Division Two.
