PLAYER-of-the-match Kasey Corbett helped inspire Evesham United to a 5-2 win at Worcester Olympic in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Women’s League.
Second-placed Evesham started playing down the slope and went ahead in the 17th minute when striker Hannah Campbell made no mistake from a fine throughball.
Despite an Olympic strike, Katie Armento moved from the wing to attack and scored twice before half-time.
Centre-half Millie Meadows broke and found Laura Pearce, who fired under the keeper to make it five for Evesham, but Worcester grabbed another consolation in a closer second period.
