EVESHAM’S 18-strong team bagged eight medals at the Wyre Forest Christmas county qualifier.

They clocked four new county times and 22 personal bests.

Mollie Cresswell, nine, won a 50- metre butterfly gold and bronzes in the 100m and 200m individual medleys.

Kieran Cooper, 10, secured a 200m individual medley gold and set two new county times.

Luke Perry, 11, claimed 50m freestyle gold and bronzes in the 100m breastroke and 100m individual medley, including a county standard.

Hannah Dufty, 14, managed silver in the 100m freestyle.

Other swimmers bagged fourth and fifth spots in the last gala of the year. The club championships continue for the next couple of weeks.
