PERSHORE Rugby Club progressed in the RFU Midlands Senior Vase third round by beating Yardley and District 31-25.
The game had to be rearranged until just before Christmas after the original fixture was postponed due to traffic problems for the visitors.
Pershore now await their quarter-final date and draw.
The Wyre Piddle-based side’s next Midlands Three West (South) game is on Saturday, January 4, at secondplaced Old Wheatleyans.
They are fourth-from-bottom in the table with Evesham propping up the division, four points behind local rivals Shipston-on- Stour.
On January 4, Evesham host mid-table Cheltenham North and Shipston head to title-chasing Ledbury.
- Badsey United lost 3-0 at Southam United Reserves in Stratford Football Alliance Division One.
