HONEYBOURNE’S Andrew and Julie Wheeler are among the trainers hoping for success this season.
The new campaign started on December 1 but the first West Midland meeting is at Chaddesley Corbett on Friday.
The Wheelers’ son Toby has been honing his skills as Robin Dickin’s amateur jockey but is awaiting an elusive first winner between the flags.
Marblehead gave his young rider useful experience last year and has been joined by Twist De L’isle, who is halfbrother to winning point-topointer Prof De L’Isle.
His form in maiden races last year did not cause much excitement but a change of scenery can work wonders.
