BOURTON Rovers Reserves put up a fine battle in losing 3-2 to Witney and District FA League Division Three titlechasers Spartan Rangers Reserves.
A rare Dave Duggan strike and one goal from Charlie Harper were cancelled out in the first period by a double from Bourton’s Josh Catlin.
A fine run and strike by Joel Spalding earned Spartan all the points although the young home side will count themselves unlucky as they wasted numerous good opportunities late on.

Town have hit form after winning their last match 5-2 against previously unbeaten leaders Barometrics.
- Broadway United romped to an 11-1 away success at lowly Quinton in Stratford Alliance Division One.
