BOURTON Rovers Reserves put up a fine battle in losing 3-2 to Witney and District FA League Division Three titlechasers Spartan Rangers Reserves.

A fine run and strike by Joel Spalding earned Spartan all the points although the young home side will count themselves unlucky as they wasted numerous good opportunities late on.
