AMBASSADOR reached the Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday Football League's Bluck Cup semi-finals for the second successive season with a 3-1 victory at Sun Inn.

They have achieved numerous league titles but only won one internal cup 17 years ago.

Two goals from Stuart Reading and a further Booth goal proved enough against the Winchcombe side, who replied through Will Major.

Ecosamba progressed with a fine 3-0 win at Tewkesbury Town Reserves thanks to a Robey treble.

In Division One, the lead at the top was closed as Pershore high Old Boys defeated Eckington 6-3 with goals from Haynes (3), Warren, Evans and Wyatt. Eckington replied through Charman (2) and McElroy.

Bretforton Old Boys won 3-1 at Broadway United with first-half goals from Gilbert, Brain and Johns cancelling out a Jason Horsburgh effort for the hosts.

Fladbury Athletic completed a four-goal win over Defford/Besford United through Heath, Clements, Wood and Nightingale.

Honeybourne Gate Inn maintained their recent form with Brookes (2) and Layton on target against Evesham WMC, who netted through Grady.

In Division Two, WMK maintained their promotion push with a 4-0 win at Offenham Rovers as Sklenaar scored all the goals for the Tewkesbury side.

Badsey Recreation recorded a comfortable 8-0 win at Dragons as Bishop (4), Hatton (2), Attwood and Trotman scored.

Division Four saw a second-half Payne goal earn Stour Excelsior Reserves a welcome 1-0 win at the expense of Fortis.
