BLOCKLEY Primary School have been successful in winning the Cotswold small schools final in sports hall athletics.
All 12 year four to six pupils took part in a series of events ranging from standing long jump to obstacle relay and a soft javelin throw to a vertical jump.
Having beaten off other local primary schools in the north Cotswolds, Blockley pupils qualified to compete in the final at Kingshill School, Cirencester.
Four other primary schools from the Cotswolds also qualified for the final but Blockley's determination won through on the day.
All pupils were awarded a gold medal and certificate and are looking forward to being invited to the county competition.
