HIGH-flying Bromsgrove Sporting arrived at Pershore Town's Winstanley King George V Stadium with a large away support and left with a convincing 4-0 victory.

Town, missing several players through injury and unavailability, were second best to an impressive second-placed side in the Midland Combination Premier Division.

While under pressure, Pershore competed until conceding three goals in the space of 10 minutes.

In the 20th minute, an unfortunate slip by a defender allowed Mark Bellingham to convert a lofted pass from the edge of the box.

Goals from Billy Russell and a deflected free-kick from Dan Ludlow put the visitors in control.

The second period saw Pershore have a couple of chances and Louis Bridges appeared to be bundled over in the penalty area.

But the final goal was converted by Bellingham slotting home a rebound off the post from a free-kick.

Pershore's next match is in the Worcester Infirmary Cup at home to Ledbury Town on Tuesday.
