THE spring season of competition is under way, giving many Bourton Roadrunners the chance to test the success of their winter training.
The White Horse Half Marathon at Grove, Oxfordshire, saw Bourton represented by Shona Crombie-Hicks and Ewen Smith.
The race incorporated the Oxfordshire County Half Marathon Championships.
Crombie-Hicks bossed the women's event, winning in one hour, 24 minutes, 51 seconds, over a minute ahead of her closest rival. Smith also had a fine run of 1.25.39.

Catherine Wheeler also reaped the rewards of her training with a personal best of 3.40.23.
