PERSHORE Town enjoyed a well-deserved 2-1 win at Southam United in the Midland Combination Premier Division.
The first-half was dominated by the visitors, who went close through Mark Owen twice and Louis Bridges but failed to break the deadlock.
A well-worked move early in the second period gave Town the lead when Bridges scored from 20 yards with a left-footed drive.
Southam equalised against the run of play before the visitors had several other chances to score.
The Pershore winner came through a deflected Mark Hands shot with 10 minutes remaining.
