EVESHAM aim to rebuild after relegation to a Worcestershire Cricket League Division One set-up which offers plenty of Vale derbies.

The Albert Road side have slumped through the divisions from the Birmingham and District Premier League.

In contrast, several promotions have earned Harvington a place at the top table of the county competition.

Pershore have already enjoyed a spell in the Birmingham League and are expected to be challenging for a return again after finishing fourth last season.

They begin at home to old rivals Droitwich Spa on Saturday, while Harvington have a tough test at Worcester Nomads, who were relegated with Evesham in 2013.

Evesham’s first test is at Redditch. Belbroughton, Bromyard, Pedmore, Hagley, Worcester and Colwall also make up the division.

In Division Three, Bredon head to Old Vigornians. All the games start at 1pm weather permitting.
