PERSHORE continued their impressive Worcestershire Cricket League Division One start with a third straight success.
They recorded a weather-affected six-wicket home win over Hagley to go joint top of the table with Colwall.
Andrew Robertson’s 4-15 from 10 overs restricted the visitors to 199-9 before Pershore reached a winning 187-4 in 31.2 overs.
Robertson again played a starring role with 43 not out alongside efforts from opener Chris Ayliffe (39) and skipper Chris Ridings (31).
Evesham’s struggles have not improved after their string of relegations with Worcester’s 215 all out proving too much to chase.
The visitors collapsed for 91 in a 124-run thrashing.
Harvington’s game at Redditch was abandoned due to rain with the hosts on 157-4, leaving the Vale side eighth in the table.
They entertain Pershore on Saturday, while Evesham are at home to Belbroughton.
