PERSHORE Swimming Club send a 17-strong team to Eindhoven this weekend for their first international open.
The Netherlands international invitational meet is the largest held annually in the country and will see 34 clubs from the likes of Azerbaijan, Belgium, France and Germany.
It will be held at the International Swim Stadium, which has 3,000 seats for spectators.
Pershore competitors will race in four events on Saturday and four on Sunday across various strokes for 50 metres and 100m.
Older swimmers will compete in the 50m international pool and can tackle the usual events as well as the longer distance of 200m.
The club head to Eindhoven via ferry tomorrow, returning overnight for Monday morning.
Worcester insurance firm Mann Broadbent have helped meet the costs of the trip by donating £500.
