LITTLETON Bowling Club’s popular gala was contested by 20 teams from New Zealand, Scotland and many local clubs.
The 20 teams were divided into two sections with the winner of each playing for the overall prize of £200 in sunny conditions.
Section one victors were a group from Aston Somerville, skipped by Brenda Kendry, who lost the final to a side from Barbourne, Worcester, led by Huw Roberts, after 10 ends.
Fred Winter’s team, skipped by Littleton’s Tony Guy, defeated Pershore’s Mike Laight for third place.
Newcomers can play at the South Littleton club on Wednesday evenings or call 01386-830198.
