LITTLETON followed up a fine 3-2 midweek victory at Bromsgrove Sporting with a 5-0 thrashing of Pelsall Villa.

Despite the convincing scoreline in Midland Football League Division One, visitors Pelsall did not deserve to lose by such a margin.

Four goals were scored in the last 15 minutes.

Littleton took an early lead on four minutes when Will Gayton's cross was laid off by Kyonn Evans for James Schrembi to convert from close range.

Although Littleton had plenty of possession, their play became sloppy with too many long balls and misplaced passes hindering progress.

It needed a fine save from home keeper Haydn Whitcombe to preserve their lead.

As the second-half wore on, Littleton pressed harder and Stuart Hall went close three times, having shots cleared off the line.

But Robbie Bunn showed how to finish with his fourth goal of the season 15 minutes from time.

On 82 minutes, Gayton put Jamie Clarke through and he steered his shot across the keeper into the net.

Clarke scored a fourth goal on 88 minutes, following up after another Hall shot was blocked.

In the last minute, Tim Beattie made it 5-0.

Callum Clarke, Nathan Hayward and Bunn scored in the Bromsgrove win.

Fifth-placed Littleton host Heather St Johns on Saturday (3pm) and visit Studley on Monday (3pm).
