TEWKESBURY Running Club’s Guy Fawkes Five attracted an entry of 13 Bourton Roadrunners.

It completed the season’s club six from 10 series for Bourton and was the penultimate contest in the Gloucestershire Road Race Series.

Shona Crombie Hicks finished second woman in 30 minutes 11 seconds.

Next in for Bourton was Ian Shoemark (31.55) with Niamh Shoemark winning first women’s veteran over 45 in 33.29.

The head-to-head of the day was between Brian Hulcup and John Gibson with the winner taking the men’s veterans over 60s club series.

They were on equal points prior to the race and fought side-by-side up until the four-mile marker.

Hulcup then kicked on to snatch the club title and the race’s men’s veteran over 60 prize in 35.14.

Susan Hunt clocked 35.55, Steph Holton 37.01, Chris Dry 39.06, Gibson 39.11, Dave Turnbull 39.36, Liz Hulcup 40.22, Lynn Hudson 44.55 and Shirley Creed 45.27.
