FRENCH forward Remi Dibo is starting to show the talent that brought him to the attention of Worcester Wolves, says director of basketball Paul James.

Dibo was one of several new arrivals at the University Arena during a summer of change for the British Basketball League club, who won the play-offs and BBL Trophy last season.

The 23-year-old, who stands at 6ft 7ins, has taken time to find his feet but came to the fore with a match-high 21 points in the 78-62 victory at Surrey United on Saturday.

Coupled with his contribution in the 90-81 triumph over Manchester Giants the night before, in which captain Alex Owumi led the way with a triple-laden 25 points, Dibo was named as one of seven players off the bench in the league's team of the week.

James said: "Alex had another good weekend and it was long overdue for Remi to put up some big numbers.

"That was pleasing so hopefully he will now kick on from there because he's a very talented player and I don't think we've seen anywhere near the best of him offensively.

"Hopefully, that game will help spur him on and we can get more consistent performances from him."
