HEAD coach Paul James says Worcester Wolves have a lot of thinking to do before Friday’s visit of Sheffield Sharks.
Wolves were beaten 89-60 at Glasgow Rocks in the British Basketball League on Sunday, their heaviest loss since December 2012.
Defeat was Worcester’s second in three matches, following a run of 10 straight wins in all competitions.
It has virtually ended their already slim title hopes and James reckons too many of his players are currently coming up short.
He said: “Sunday was a bad day at the office. A few guys are not playing at the top of their games right now. There is a lot for us all to consider before we face Sheffield.
“It’s a long journey up there and we seemed to sleep-walk off the bus, struggling from the start. Rocks shot the ball well and whatever we did to try to counter them, they still found ways to get open.
“We made a lot of uncharacteristic errors. Once we fell behind, we found it hard to get back in the match.”
Friday’s match at the University Arena tips off at 7.30pm.
