TEN-MAN Pershore Town lost 1-0 to fellow strugglers Racing Club Warwick in Midland League Division One.
Home centre-half Matt Mitchell received a harsh red card for a tackle after just eight minutes.
But Pershore were still the better team throughout with Craig Conner heading wide and Steve Roche shooting wide.
Danny Lennon's fierce shot was saved, resulting in a goalmouth scramble and the ball being cleared off the line.
But Warwick scored the only goal and their keeper foiled Stuart Hall in the last minute.
Town start a run of three consecutive away matches at Nuneaton Griff on Saturday (3pm) and Coventry Copsewood on Tuesday (7.45pm).
