STEVEN WHITTAKER has urged Rangers to get back on the winning trail at Queen of the South tonight after three draws.

Walter Smith's side have dropped four SPL points in their last two goal-less outings at Motherwell and Kilmarnock, with a creditable 1-1 draw against Stuttgart in the Champions League sandwiched in between.

But Whittaker knows victory at Palmerston Park in the Co-op Cup would set the Ibrox men up for their next three crunch games - against Aberdeen, Sevilla and Celtic.

Whittaker said: "Last Saturday was frustrating and the referee was quite fast with his cards. We had Pedro Mendes sent off so we had to adapt and that was hard.

"The chances to score never really came our way and it was disappointing not to take all three points from Rugby Park.

"Our aim in every game is to win but we've had three draws in a row now so we're keen to get back on the right track again.

"That starts at Queen of the South tonight."
