County cup final for Bredon Hill cricketers
BREDON Hill Middle year eight boys’ cricket team reached the Worcestershire Schools’ Under 13s Cup final by beating Walkwood Middle in the last four.
The Ashton-under-Hill school’s pupils batted well, making 131 off 16 overs with Daniel Holland scoring 61 not out.
In reply, Walkwood from Redditch could only make 63-5 off 16 overs as the bowlers kept the batsmen under control.
Bredon Hill head to the county final at Hanley Castle High School, near Upton, today.
