Evans and Gayton hit hat-tricks in Pershore's 9-1 win
PERSHORE Town beat Tenbury Town 9-1 in the Smedley Crooke Memorial Cup first round.
The hosts dominated the game, leading 5-0 at half-time, and they had the opportunities to win by a bigger margin.
Pershore’s goal-scorers included hat-tricks for Gareth Evans and Will Gayton, including a penalty, with Lou Bridges, Jamie Clarke and substitute Ollie Casey also on the scoresheet.
