MAURICE Walker has made his debut appearance in British Basketball League’s All Star Five after playing a key part in Worcester Wolves’ back-to-back successes.

The 6ft 10in forward has taken the league by storm since joining Wolves in November and starred in their wins at Newcastle Eagles and London Lions last weekend.

He rattled in 23 points against leaders Newcastle, but it was his towering display at the Copper Box which secured his place in the league’s team of the week for the first time.

Walker corralled 26 points after making a stellar 11 of 14 at the hoop against Lions, while also harvesting eight rebounds, two assists and a block.

Meanwhile, point guard Marek Klassen has earned a place on the bench after notching 23 points and seven assists at Lions.
