LITTLETON Clubs made it three straight wins in Evesham and District League Basepoint Division One with a 6-4 win against local rivals Littleton Positives.

Craig Witheford kept up his 100 per cent record with victories over Nick Mytton, James Morrow and Doug Payne.

John Taylor and Steve Cull also had one win each for Clubs, both beating Payne.

Clubs needed the doubles to win the match and the victory was confirmed when Cull and Witheford defeated Morrow and Mytton.

JLM Hawks are the only other side to have won all their matches so far.

They kept up their record with a 7-3 victory against Bengeworth Purple.

Despite the team defeat, Kate Hughes of Bengeworth Purple still has an unbeaten individual record on her return to the league, having last competed in 2011-12.

Hughes had straight-sets wins against Jack Davis and Mark Hale of Hawks but had to fight hard to beat Barbara Szeligowska in five sets.

Littleton Aces put in an impressive performance against Kington Bulldogs in a 10-0 whitewash.

Mark Bilsborrow, Duncan Arrandale and Saulius Breitaris were too good for Andrew Smith, Steve Shaw and Malcolm McFarlane.

JLM Dragonflies beat JLM Sunrisers 9-1.

Ed Sommers and Kevin Taylor were undefeated for Dragonflies.

Sunrisers’ one win came when Jonathan Lyons beat Stephen Glazzard.

Wyre Elite made it two wins out of three so far with a 7-3 victory over JLM Owls.

Matt Hartwell was in action for Elite for the first time this season and started with three straight-sets wins.

Darrell Wiltshire also won three for Elite and combined with Lee Wilkinson to take the doubles against Keith Ferguson and Stephen Foster.
