MOEEN Ali will return to the England squad for the five-match one-day international series against New Zealand.

The Worcestershire all-rounder has been rested for the forthcoming T20 Tri-Series involving England, New Zealand and Australia.

He helped England to a convincing 4-1 triumph in the ODI series in Australia before returning home for a short break.

But the 30-year-old has been named in a 15-man party to face the Black Caps in a series played between February 25 and March 10.

Moeen had already been chosen in the squad for the two-Test series against New Zealand which follows the ODI encounters.

It is four years ago this month that Moeen made his England debut in an ODI Series in the West Indies when he opened alongside Michael Lumb.
