COTSWOLD gymnasts have enjoyed a wave of success.

Martin and Kerwen Collett run The Gym Centre/Cheltenham School of Gymnastics and a satellite club at The Cotswold School, Bourton-on-the-Water.

Twenty-two gymnasts entered the South West Club and Regional Gradings at Bristol, claiming two passes, 16 commended and four distinctions.

Four from the Bourton classes also attend a high-performance training centre in Gloucester.

Jessica Havill and Sophie Havill got a commended and distinction respectively at club grade five.

Emily Rowe achieved a pass at regional grade two and Hannah Rowe a commended at regional grade four.

Further success followed in the Levels Floor and Vault Competition at Fromeside, Bristol, involving 18 gymnasts with juniors, seniors and young women crowned champions.

Emily Rowe was fourth and Emily Franks second in the level four women's competition.

Four Bourton girls were in the West Country League team competition at Wiltshire School of Gymnastics.

Emily Rowe was part of the second-placed Division Two B League team.

Jessica and Sophie Havill were in the Division Two A League side who finished third.

Franks joined the Division Four B League group and managed third.

Two competed alongside team-mates and other clubs in the Gloucestershire Novice Floor and Vault Competition at the Forest of Dean club.

Emily Lord was ninth in the novice two under eights and Katie Rowe fourth in the novice two 13 years category.
