NORTH Cotswold Tri and Run’s Mike Hobbs was crowned veteran 40 champion at the Gloucestershire 5k Road Championships.
He did a personal best of 18 minutes seven seconds at Haresfield.
Steve Edwards completed his 831st marathon with three hours 29 minutes 24 seconds for second at the SVN Punk Run trail marathon in Northampton.
A 10k race at Blaisdon saw Dennis Walmsley, 55, finish third in 37.38 with Kate Krzywiec third woman in 40.38 and Claire Harrison third over 40 in 46.28.
Viv D’Alton completed her first park run at Evesham in 27.47 for fifth in her 50 to 54 age group.
Andy McCoombes ran 46.29 at the Stratford Summer Six.
The juniors did the Tri in Pittville Park in Cheltenham and Thomas Cassidy was fourth in the boys’ Tristar one in 14.27.2.
Chloe Krzywiec clocked 9.01.6, William Chambers 8.14.2, Noah Williams 15.58.06, Bertie Walmsley 19.52.2, Lucy Hillary 18.13.7 and Lilly-Anna Walmsley 25.39.01 in their various categories.
