THE popular Bourton One Mile Challenge was won by Richard de-Camps of Cheltenham and County Harriers in four minutes 22 seconds.

He held off international Cardiff AAC athlete James Thie and Ben Robinson from Bristol and West who ran 4.23.

Telford’s Rachel Coupe won the women’s race in 5.28 with Annabel Roberts, of Tewkesbury, and Kiya Dee, 13, from Bourton Roadrunners both doing 5.30.

All profits from the race, organised by Norm and Ali Lane, and a social event went to Gloucestershire Arthritis Trust and totalled £1,150.
