EVESHAM seniors held their annual invitation day.
Many local clubs were represented at the two-ball better-ball stableford and most of the matches were finished before the temperatures climbed into the 30s.
Local member Graham Hughes and Terry Cox from The Worcestershire won with 47 points.
Second on countback was Richard Saville and N Cowle from Tewkesbury Park with 46 ahead of Geoff Wellens and M Malone on 46.
Nearest the pin were John Vaughan from Evesham and Cox.
Evesham seniors played two home matches, losing narrowly to Ombersley and then beating Lilley Brook from Cheltenham in a close contest.
