NORTH Cotswold Tri and Run's Kerry Taylor secured an age category win at the Morson Salford Triathlon standard distance event.

Taylor was first 40 to 49 and seventh woman overall.

Club-mate Kelly Read did the Cotswold Lake 62 Standard Triathlon over a 1,500-metre swim, 40-kilometre bike ride and 9km run.

Read was third in her 35 to 39 age group and 19th woman overall.  

James Dunn tackled the Montane Lakeland 50, a tough ultra-running and walking challenge from Ullswater to Coniston.

He battled through the night with more than 10,000 feet of elevation and winds of 50 to 60mph to complete in 19 hours 50 minutes.

Steve Edwards ran the Enigma Show Me The Money-themed marathon at Caldecotte Lake, Milton Keynes.

On a cooler but windy day, Edwards completed seven laps of the trail course in 3.27.01 for third overall in his 832nd marathon.

Pippa Brown did her first park run in Evesham in 22.49 for first in her 30 to 34 age group and second woman overall.
