VALE racing driver Rachel Davies was back behind the wheel after a lengthy lay-off following a broken wrist.
The injury meant that the teenager, now studying at UWIC University, was forced to call a halt to her career in the MG Championship but she has now turned her attentions to the Radical Series.
The 18-year-old's first outing in a a Radical SR4 car that she only picked up the day before her track return saw her claim two podium finishes.
She is now confident that the car will help her driving ambitions and, having secured support from her place of study, Fuchs Silkolene and Cotswold Technical Services, she is eagerly awaiting a return to track competition in next year's televised Radical Championship.
Rachel's next outing is at a charity event at Castle Combe in Wiltshire on Saturday, October 25 when racing fans have the chance to ride in the passenger seat for a small donation.
