EVESHAM hosted the first tag tournament of the season last Sunday when 11 girls teams were in action The host club fielded two teams and both enjoyed considerable success.
The Reds, captained by Josie Symonds, powered through the initial group stages with three straight wins.
All of the seven girls produced outstanding performances with special credit to Sarah Higley and Lauren Selby.
In the final group stage, Evesham drew both games to finish in second place overall.
The Blues produced their best performance to date winning two out of three games in the opening pool stages.
Captained by Sarah Jocklyn, all of the players produced outstanding performances with Sam Chalmers and Izzy Lavery the star turns.
In the final stages, the Blues had a comfortable win over an improving Old Salts team but found Yardley far to strong but still ended ina best-ever fifth place.
