Harvington U-13 3, Littleton 2

KIERAN Barrett was Harvington’s hero on Saturday when his hat-trick helped his side record a first win of the season.

Barrett netted twice in the first half only for Littleton to hit back and make it all-square at the break.

There was everything to play for in what proved an action-packed contest that was decided by Barrett’s third goal although Harvington were grateful to a fabulous save from Henry Hopper as they celebrated their first success.

Fladbury U-13 0, Peopleton 4

PEOPLETON maintained their excellent recent run of results despite a fine display by home goalkeeper Matt Hawtree.

He produced a series of fine stops and even saved a penalty before Matt Nunn broke the deadlock just before half-time with a well-taken volley.

The pressure on the Fladbury goal continued after the restart but central defenders Cameron Dickinson and Oli Bradshaw were in stubborn mood.

However, persistence paid off as the visitors netted three more times courtesy of Joe Stanley, Jack Hancock and Dan Hartwright.

Harvington U-10 7, Pershore 1

HARVINGTON recorded another good win on their Saturday travels despite starting slowly.

Numerous shots at goal failed to find the target but they did manage to break the deadlock before the break with two goals.

The lead was soon doubled after the interval when newcomer Tyler Breakwell was thrust into the action and the visitors added three more goals with Pershore scoring a consolation.

Frederick Lavender took the scoring honours with a hat-trick with further goals coming from skipper Sam McCabe (2), player of the match Jordan Baker and Ryan Brebner.

Badsey Rgrs U-11 10, Ilmington 4

RANGERS found the net seven times in the second half to see off spirited opponents.

They led 4-3 at half-time before which Matthew Knight and Tom Benfield had both scored twice.

Ryan Attwood got the second half onslaught under way with Benfield completing his hat-trick.

Nathan Bolland also netted a treble, Charlie Banning scored twice with Aaron Jelfs making it double figures before Ilmington scored a fourth.

Bredon Colts U-13 1, Badsey Rgrs 2

COLTS lost for the first time this season as their title rivals returned home with the points.

Nathan Perry finished off a sweeping move to give Bredon the lead and it took a fortuitous goal to make it 1-1 when Sean Brain's corner floated on to the crossbar and looked to be bouncing away until a gust of wind blew the ball back into the goal.

There was nothing lucky about the winning goal as Brain fired in a superb free-kick that proved to be the winner but it needed some resolute defending to prevent Colts hitting back as they tried to retain their proud record.

Bredon's player of the match was Josh Kennedy, while the Badsey award was shared by Wilf Watson and goalkeeper Joe Gisbourne.

Evesham Utd U-15 5, Gotherington Jnrs 4

SUNDAY'S match was played in dreadful conditions but provided end to end action and nine goals.

After making the early running the Robins fell behind but Matt Fellows soon levelled.

Ivan Masica then made it 2-1 after a shot from James Coldrick was parried into his path but a wind-assisted strike made it all-square at half-time before which Leon Ballard replaced the injured Tom Bennett between the sticks.

Ballard was beaten early in the second period but it was quickly 3-3 when Pedro Bernardo fired in one of the goals of the season from 40 yards.

Joel Haycock gave Evesham the lead before Elliott Grady, who had seen an earlier effort disallowed, made it 5-3 from Andy Powell's through ball.

Sam Ford came close to netting a sixth but it was Gotherington who had the final say but it wasn't enough to deny United the points.
