Elmley Castle 193 all out, Earlswood 188-1.
AN under-strength Elmley side travelled to Earlswood in the Cotswold Hills Premier Division and the home side gained a nine-wicket win thanks to a century from L Everett after their target was revised due to rain.
After losing the toss, Elmley were inserted to bat and Simon Corbett could not keep an off drive on the ground and was caught for seven off the bowling of M Price in the fifth over. Robin Eaton joined Simon Cooper at the crease.
But the run-rate dried up and, after 15 overs, the away side had scored 23 when Eaton was bowled by M Price for five. Captain Will Bailey went for one off the bowling of A Price.
Neil Cooper joined his brother but after scoring a brisk 27 with some fine drives producing six boundaries but was caught by Windeatt off the bowling of K Everett.
Mike Granacki looked at home straight from the off. After adding 20 runs together, Simon Cooper, batting on one leg after suffering from a hamstring injury, was bowled by C Everett for 31.
Keeper Gareth Howman was the next man in with the score on only 88 off 29 overs. But the pair managed to get their team to 193 off the allotted 45 overs. Howman (26) and Granacki (68).
Earlswood got off to a flying start and were in control after about 20 overs. L Everett and M Rice put on more than 100 for the first wicket until Rice ran himself out for 33. Earlswood reached their target in the 39th over.
