Swindon Supermarine 1, Evesham United 1.
EVESHAM United had to come from behind to share the Zamaretto League Premier Division points at in-form Swindon Supermarine.
The draw lifts Paul West's side to 16th and three points clear of the relegation zone.
A largely forgettable first-half came to life when Swindon Supermarine took a 41st-minute lead. Steve Cook held off the challenge of a couple of Evesham defenders before beating Nathan Vaughan with a crisp finish.
The lead was cut seven minutes into the second-half. Josh McKenzie was fouled just outside the box and Simon Fitter netted with a delightful shot from the resulting free-kick.
After this, Evesham looked the more likely to go on and win. Substitute Marcus Palmer shot across the face of an unguarded goal and twice forced Swindon keeper Matt Bulman to save.
Evesham United: Vaughan, Watson, Hyde, Costello, Luckett, Spencer, Fitter, Ducros (Hands 79), Robinson (Palmer 45), Lennon, McKenzie. Subs not used: Hodnett, Connor, Mace. Attendance: 143.
