ADLESTROP kept up their Cotswold District Association Division One title challenge with a four-wicket win at home to Chedworth.

After losing two early wickets, Chedworth’s batsmen buckled down to set a daunting target by scoring 206-7 from 40 overs. Jamie Parker bowled well with 5-48.

Adlestrop lost a wicket in the first over but then settled to the task as number three batsman Sam Keen led them home on 208-6 in 39 overs with 110 not out. Christian Hudson-Evans added 39.

Stow-on-the-Wold lost by three wickets at home to Williamstrip after being bowled out for 117 in 31.1 overs.

Dan Smith (30) top-scored before fine bowling by Ashley Andrews (3-15) and Dan Heaps (3-22) ensured the visitors limped home on 118-7 from 36 overs.

Notgrove-based NATs lost by 90 runs at Windrush Valley, being skittled for 94 in reply to 184-9. Will Spence took 4-49 and Varun Sharma scored 27.
