DANNY Johnson sits seventh in the National Superstock 1000 championship following round seven at Knockhill.
Riding for Evesham-based JD Racing, the 26-year-old finished 15th in Scotland and will now head to Oulton Park in Cheshire next month.
Having qualified on the fifth row of the grid, Johnson was involved in a fierce battle early on in the race but missed a gear on lap four and dropped several places.
He had to work hard for the rest of the race, eventually crossing the line in 15th place in a time of 20 minutes 51.573 seconds.
