PERSHORE Town will play six pre-season friendlies ahead of the new Midland Football Combination Premier Division campaign.

Under new manager Gary Aldington and assistant Andrew Rogers, the King George V Playing Fields side are seeking improvement following last season’s secondfrom- bottom finish.

Westfields are the first visitors on Saturday, July 14 (3pm), followed by Bishop’s Cleeve on Thursday, July 19 (7.30pm).

Pershore then face Tipton Town on Saturday, July 21 (3pm), Stratford Town on Tuesday, July 24 (7.30pm), and Tuffley on Saturday, July 28 (3pm).

Evesham United’s visit on Tuesday, July 31 (7.30pm), completes the warm-up schedule before Pershore kick-off their league programme on August 4.

However, they have a friendly against Redditch United on August 7 (7.30pm).
