DESPITE the miserable weather, youngsters fished the Journal Cup Series third round.

Junior Owen Robinson fished old-style stick float to pick up nearly 7lbs of fish from peg 31 to win his category.

Juniors: 1 Robinson 6-11, 2 Connor Wagstaff 2-8, 3 Oli Johnson 1-14; under 12s: 1 Chloe Welch 3-5-8, 2 Jack Harvey 0-9; intermediates: 1 Bradley Proctor 5-13, 2 Matt Kinnersley 1-7.
