THE Evesham and District League held their annual meeting at the Hospital Social Club.

Members heard the competition suffered a small loss but there was still a healthy cash balance.

The new season should start on September 24.

A crib drive raised £83 towards league funds. The competition has space for 20 teams and anyone interested is asked to call Mike Wells by August 13 on 01789-772580.

Officers for new season: A Booth president, M Mumford vice-president, I Simons chairman, R Haines vice-chairman, S Halliwell secretary, R Bull treasurer, Wells match secretary, S Harrison, M Palmer and H Jennings committee.

Teams for the 2012-2013 season : Angel Vaults ‘A’ and ‘B’, Hospital ‘B’ and ‘C’, The Bear, Bengeworth Club, Bretforton RBL, Bulls Head, Ambassador Club, Coach And Horses, Rowing Club, Gardeners Arms, Hampton WMC, Ivy Inn, Qube Bar, Royal Navy Club, Queens Head.
